Day Trips
Our day trips take place around Sal Island and are designed to be relaxed, safe, and easygoing.
Whether you join us for a half-day or full-day sail, the focus is always on time at sea, small groups, and a smooth experience from start to finish.

Departure & Meeting Points
Due to the currently damaged pier in Santa Maria, we operate from two main departure points, depending on sea conditions and the boat used on the day:

• Santa Maria beach departure, boarding by dinghy when conditions allow
• Alternative Bikini beach departure nearby, with boarding by dinghy when the pier is not accessible

We always inform you in advance of the exact meeting point and explain the process clearly.
Beach boarding by dinghy is a normal part of sailing life in Cape Verde and is handled safely and calmly by our experienced crew.

Getting There
Depending on where you are staying, transfers may be included and will be arranged by us.
If no transfer is included, taxis on Sal are easy to find and affordable – and we are always happy to help with directions or coordination.

On Board
We sail in small groups to keep the atmosphere relaxed and personal.
Children are very welcome on board, and our trips are suitable for families. Safety is always our priority, and we make sure everyone feels comfortable throughout the trip.

If you have any allergies, special requests, or are celebrating something special, please let us know in advance – we’ll do our best to accommodate.

Group Size
The maximum number of guests depends on the boat

Sailing Yacht – Lucy: up to 8 guests
Catamaran – Kingfisher: up to 14 guests
Catamaran – Freebird Spirit: 20–25 guests, depending on conditions
